What is ECA-Lift®?
The ECA-LIFT anchor is a flexible new type of anchor designed to achieve maximum efficiency.
when constructing concrete elements. The simple installation, lightweight, and strength of the anchor ensure a high level of safety when transporting and assembling concrete
elements. By using a GFRP bar, there is hardly any cold bridge formed between the two concrete halves, in contrast to the classic anchors for double walls.
Advantages
- High-resistant fibre optic pressure component in combination with steel cable
- Anchoring distributed along the entire cable length
- Smaller thermal bridge and lower thermal conductivity
- Use of non-organic materials for consistent strength
- Corrosion-resistant thanks to galvanised cable and fibreglass component
- Gradual fracture under overload (predictable behaviour)
- Flexible installation through cable construction
- Compactly packaged: less storage space and lower transport costs
- Designed to improve efficiency and safety on the site
Technical Information
The ECA-Lift anchor consists of a galvanised steel cable (tensile strength > 1770 N/mm²) and a thermally insulated fibreglass rod, which is connected to the cable by means of a plastic cap.
All ECA-Lift anchors are CE marked and comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Numerous tests have shown that the ECA-Lift anchor has a safety factor greater than 3.
There are two types of ECA-Lift anchors available, a 3T anchor and a 5T anchor.
